Yes, another month late. I'm sorry. I'd been thinking about 12 of 12 either the night of the 11th, or the morning of the 12th, but then I left the house to go to the Regent Street Apple store on the way to an afternoon with a friend. And I forgot about 12 of 12 then, somehow. I remembered partway through the afternoon, so took photos then with the Hipstamatic app - I'd downloaded new films and lenses, so it was fun to experiment. And anyway, most of my day (or the fun bits) were spent at my friend's flat, so you didn't miss much in the morning.
Click here to read the other 12s for June, and thanks as always to Chad for the idea.
1) Whitehall, London
Black and white, from the bus to my friend's flat.
Lens: Melodie
Film: A0 BW
Flash: Laser Lemon Gel
2) Jenny's flat, Old Kent Road, London
Watching season 1 of NCIS, as Jenny's not seen most of the show I think. We both have a thing for Mark Harmon ;-)
Lens: Melodie
Film: Ina's 1969
Flash: Off
3) Jenny's flat, Old Kent Road, London
The plan was that after always posting on FB about the yummy roasts she cooks, I said she should invite me over so I could stop drooling, and we could watch DVDs. This is the chicken par way through cooking.
Lens: Melodie
Film: Ina's 1935
Flash: Off
4) Jenny's flat, Old Kent Road, London
I had recently downloaded some new packs in Hipstamatic, and was playing with the Salvador Dali one I think - sometimes it flips an image and duplicates it at 90 degrees, or mirror image copies it, or as here, makes a bigger copy but faded. Jenny thought I needed bunny ears.
Lens: Salvador 84
Film: Ina's 1935
Flash: Off
5) Jenny's flat, Old Kent Road, London
Another Dali one - mirror images, creating a funky look. Almost made me think it was like henna on her face, but it's the mirror of her smile.
Lens: Salvador 84
Film: Ina's 1935
Flash: Laser Lemon Gel
6) Jenny's flat, Old Kent Road, London
Self portrait, minus bunny ears this time :P
Lens: Salvador 84
Film: Ina's 1935
Flash: Laser Lemon Gel
7) Jenny's flat, Old Kent Road, London
Glass of rosé wine, and another Dali flip - this time over a horizontal axis. Looks cool, right?
Lens: Salvador 84
Film: Big Up
Flash: Cherry Shine
8) Jenny's flat, Old Kent Road, London
Finished roast - chicken, carrots, brussel sprouts, spring onion mashed potato, sage Yorkshire puddings, and some onions. Yummy.
Lens: Melodie
Film: Ina's 1969
Flash: Cherry Shine
9) Jenny's flat, Old Kent Road, London
I'd meant to bring pastries over (I'd got lots to eat up), but forgot. Jenny whipped up some quick single layer mini sponge cakes, slathered jam on and topped with sprinkles. Yummy again!
Lens: Melodie
Film: Ina's 1969
Flash: Off
10) Jenny's flat, Old Kent Road, London
Dark chocolate courtesy of Jenny, while we watched films - 13 Going On 30 and Practical Magic (I'd seen the first, not the second).
Lens: Melodie
Film: Big Up
Flash: Cherry Shine
11) Jenny's flat, Old Kent Road, London
Jenny proving how awesome a friend she is - after giving me bunny ears, when I tried to get a photo of her to include in my 12, she grabbed a mouthful of chocolate and smeared it all over her teeth for a true chocolatey grin. She told me to post this photo! See, she laughs at herself as much as she laughs with other people.
Lens: Melodie
Film: Big Up
Flash: Cherry Shine
12) Jenny's flat, Old Kent Road, London
Another Dali self portrait, but a little fuzzier.
Lens: Salvador 84
Film: DreamCanvas
Flash: Cherry Shine
BONUS - Old Kent Road, London
Waiting for the bus back to Lewisham.
Lens: Salvador 84
Film: Alfred Infrared
Flash: Cherry Shine
And that's your lot for this month! Hope you enjoyed them, even if they were late!

I especially like the bonus photo (night light effects are a favorite theme of mine). Also interesting with all the self-portraits (also a common theme of mine)! -Gavin
