12 of 12 (v6.0) - April

This one's going up on time! I know, I'm as surprised as you :P I suddenly realised last night that it was the 12th tomorrow (now today), but even so, I kind of forgot until I got to work. I got photos through the day though, and I kind of like this month's - all Hipstamatic on iPhone. I got through commenting on most of last month's posted 12s, but if I didn't get to yours, I'll try and do that when I do this month's 12s comments. Also, if you can spare a comment and some love for Matt and Scott, they could do with some from the 12 of 12 friends *hugs*

You can see everyone else's here, and thanks to Chad for creating it.

Empty soup cup at lunch - leek and potato soup from the work canteen with a buttered baguette for dunking. Largely I think, the reason my Wii Fit said my BMI went up when I looked tonight...

And a view of the garden - with recently mowed grass. The tree by the gate is blossoming, which is pretty.

Doing the body test on Wii Fit before I eat (I went back and exercised on it after I'd had time to let the meal go down).

I wanted chocolate, and my options were either some that's been in the fridge for a long long time, or the chocolate chips I bought a while back to use in baking. Given I had old fridge rocky road last night, I thought I'd go with the baking chocolate chips.

One of my blankets. I drape a fleece blanket over the sofa to sit on, and then sometimes have one over me. This was from when the World Cup was on last year.

I've been taking photos of London with the Hipstamatic photo app on iPhone. Not taking a photo each day - or even posting one every day... but posting one for each day of the year, in batches. I'll end up with 365 photos, but it takes time to take the photos, watermark them, upload to FB and add comments... so I do them every 3 days or so.

Great photos! I love my hipstamatic!

I just moved to Columbus, Ohio (doesn't ring a bell, I know,) It's a cute town and I've gathered a bunch of Spring photos that I will post soon.

Thanks for sharing!

Yes, I was surprised ...lol :) I was having problems towards the end of last year in getting my stuff posted... stressful time at work. You're the second person I heard from about Matt and Scooter. I guess I'll check their blog out next. Love the effects you can get from your i-phone. My favorite chocolate bar is the Hershey's golden almond bar. I grew up just a few miles from Hershey and that's the only place I know I can still get them. That is certainly a fabulous garden. It takes a lot of care to keep a garden like that looking so beautiful... congrats on the hard work.

too funny!! you reading my post while i am reading yours!!!
:)~
you know what? that garden of yours is growing on me, even though i personally object to flats on the ground level. (i'm a "tad" higher"... just a tad!! yeah, like, really!!)
that sandwich is making me hungry but it is still a bit too early for dinner for me...
shame on you for tempting me!!!
guess i'll have some of that birthday cake leftovers...
it's all on you now!!! but at least, i don't have a Wii Fit to remind me of my sins, and my scale and i are not on speaking terms...

i also do the 365 days project, a picture for every day. i like this. so i now have something daily, something weekly and something monthly. busy, busy, busy!!

imagine my surprise when i saw your name at Chad's, figuring it was just a placeholder, only to find out you had actually posted on time!! good for you!! this was a fun post!!

Lovely pics as always - I love the Hipstamatic look. How I miss Polaroid ...

I love the garden at your flat!

And thank you for the nice message and plea for healing thoughts to us - you and Pete both mentioned us in your 12 posts this month, and it's so nice to have good friends across the pond. :)

Wouh! I love the finish(?) of your photos! Especially the one of the book.

Your garden looks so nice... (sigh) I still have snow in mine! And it is getting brown-black. Burk!

And now I need chocolate! Or a Wii Fit? ;¬D

I do like the Hipstamatic effect the app gives, very nice :)

I wish we had a work canteen like that, the soup looks yummy.

Oh and the car is...well very special indeed. Makes me smile every time I drive it (just weekends at the moment).

You know what? Completely addicted to Wispa bars at the moment, I hadn't had one in years then a friend gave me one (so to speak) a few weeks ago. So much better than Aero!

Hey ya!! I'm so glad you came by.:)

Your 12 are fantastic!!! And I have to thank you because I totally was going to skip working out today, but now I can't cause I was all inspired by your wii fit pic so I'm hopping on my treadmill after this. Bonus hugs for the inspiration I needed so much today!!!

Besides, sometimes ya just need some chocolate.:)

This set of pictures has a astounding freshness, I like that on most of the pictures, especially the soup, the whisp and the flower!

I refuse to believe that soup and bread is bad for me, it's on my "safe meals" list. Nice photos though, I especially liked the vintage-looking Wispa bar.
