185 - Telephone

Theme 86.

Photobucket

OK, first up - I know this is a little blurry. You try getting sharp focus on a moving 1 year old... :P All weekend long I mostly shot on Sports mode, and even then some turned out blurry, as by the time I locked a focus point, he'd moved!

But - one of Will's new tricks, is when he hears the phone go (or a microwave beep, or see a phone, or even his Mum's handbag where she keeps her phone...), is to put his hand to his ear as if he were holding a mobile, and go "Hewo? Hewoo??".

So. Damn. Cute.

Anyway, despite my best efforts, this was the best I got of him, and this time with an actual phone (if a phone wasn't to hand, he'd use his hand, or a toy person, or any object really). Every time he did it and I went to grab my camera, he'd stopped and moved his hand by the time the lens cap was off, camera on and focused (or even just focused, if I'd been shooting).

But to me, it's the theme, even if slightly blurry. It'll be the best fit for the theme for the year, because I can hear him saying "Hewo?" every time I see it :D

Hewo? Heyo? I half expect the next line to be "is the anybody there?" lol.

I usually photograph him when he's asleep! x

Hee... I remember Rhiannon doing that at the BBQ the day after Del and mUrt's wedding. She entertained all us adults for hours with it. Chris managed to get some good photos and video, even. I'll have to dig those up sometime.

Seriously, what is it with babies and mobile phones? Kieran and Lewis were the same when they were little. They still get excited when I get my phone out now, but mainly because they know I'm getting ready to take pictures of them, and they're little show offs!

It works still, blurry or not. Memories (and that's what photos are, captured memories) are often blurred anyway - lol
