Theme 267.
I saw this a few weeks ago I think, but hadn't got my camera with me. However, as I filled time between arriving in Exeter and getting the Megabus to London, I went to the Tesco Metro supermarket, and saw this pillar again (it's one of the pillars supporting the first floor of the row of shops there, which jut out further than the ground floor). As I had my camera with me this time, I took the photo. And not too many people around to wonder why I was photographing a brick pillar ;-) (though I've long since stopped worrying much about people thinking that! I know I'm getting the photo for the 366 challenge, the 12 of 12 challenge or just because it's a good photo).
It says "She never told her love" three times, with some of the words slightly faded (they have been for a while, it looks the same as I saw it weeks ago, so maybe some words were stressed more than others). What it means or who it's addressed to, I have no idea - a mystery indeed!
(I forgot that it's slightly not vertical and has the black of a rainwater pipe I think) - I was in a hurry to post it without people noticing, and when I watermarked it in Elements, the black pipe blended in with the Elements background!)

Great take on the theme. Got me thinking now as well.. WHAT didn't she tell..and WHO? Who is she, is it too late?
and why write it 3 times? Great.. now *I'm* curious.
Oh, I want to know the rest of the story - we will never know :-(
Helen, maybe you can write a novel based upon this pillar. Or at least a short story :-) It's a magnificent find for the theme, and you did a nice job of capturing it.
PERFECT! Now we're all going to lose sleep over this mystery...
You find the most interesting things! How perfect for this theme - you MUST find out the rest of the story!!
