Theme 240.
The inside of the Odeon in Leicester Square, London, I went with friends to see Wall-E, and got financially hosed - £13.50 for a ticket! Now in my local city, it is £4.50 in the Odeon and £7.10 in the Vue cinema (the Odeon was the main cinema and then when the Vue got built nearby, the Odeon dropped its prices to keep people coming. I root for the underdog and don't want the newcomer usurping the Odeon and forcing it out, so I will always go there instead).
For £13.50, I expect a personal attendant with a fan and feeding me grapes. As my friend Andy pointed out, you at least want a cupholder, ferchrissakes! But the room was nice, as you see. The walls and backdrop changed colours as we waited for the film to start.

Ah!!! Almost painful to watch. :) I miss London terribly and only 4-5 weeks left now and then we will be there!!
We always go on Leicester Square, but as I told Christine, it's been a while now...last time I went, I went by my self, watching How to get rid of a guy in 10 days. :)
It has been years since I went there - ahhh, such fond memories :-). Certainly didn't entertain us with such wonderful scenery changes - amazing colour. Still, didn't cost £13.50 either!
Beautiful!
I can't believe how many exciting things you do and places you go! Ahhhh . . . to be young again :-)
TWENTY SIX DOLLARS for a movie??!?!?!?! That theatre (and thus this picture) is gorgeous but... wow! I guess now you can say you did it! Haha.
How much?!!?????
It's times like these I am very glad I live in provinces!
You go to a place like that to watch a movie?? It's far too fancy to sit back and watch animated family films in ;)
And I think there's a difference between a calico cat and a tortoiseshell cat. Tortoiseshell is more a coloring, while calico is a breed of cat. This is my cat, http://bostonbaby.deviantart.com/art/Sun-bathing-86126339 she's a tortie :)
That's a great theater! It seems to me though that you pay for its greatness with the ticket prices. That's just not right. We pay less then half here, even on the most expensive days. :passout:
