From playing the Ring Of Fire drinking card game at my friend Amanda's house. Every year pretty much, she has a weekend house party around May time. A bunch of us (who all met on a Buffy posting board) arrive, we watch a summer Blockbuster on the cinema (previous years have seen Spider-Man 2 and this time Indiana Jones And The Kingdom Of The Crystal Skulls), have a BBQ and watch geeky TV (previous offerings - Buffy, Firefly, Supernatural, House), while drinking. Usually, Ring Of Fire features as a drinking game involving playing cards (which dictate the task, e.g. a 2 of anything means drink 2 shots, 7 is the pee card (can't go to the toilet unless you have one, or pay a forfeit), 8 is categories, etc.). Often, a TV show has a drinking game attached - the House one is pretty well used. Lupus anyone? :P
Anyway, providing you know your limits and what drinks work for you or don't, it's a generally good way to relax and enjoy yourself! (the party was in April. The knee and vague person in the top photo is Amanda's husband, H).

Oh fun! I like the first pic best for some reason. The position of the glass, I guess. We play a game like that too but called it King's Cup, though everyone I know calls it something different. Cool! That sounds like something I'd love to do right about now (rather than drive 16 hours on top of the 11 I did today and unpack and put my house together again :wacko:) -- glad you got to see your pals!

I love the first shot, it's brilliant and really draws your eye to the card.
These are great shots! Wouldn't want to play the game, though....
