165 - Egg

Theme 332.

Photobucket

I went to make a late lunch of scrambled egg on bread (prefer it to toast), but took photos of the eggs first. Then I remembered the selection of Chinese snacks in the fridge (prawn toast, prawn wantons and vegetable spring rolls), and cooked those instead. The photo above is the better of the ones when I decided to try a photo of just one egg, but the photo below was my first idea.

The top photo had the shadow of the egg box in it originally. I did retake the photo at the time, and it seemed sharp on the camera, but when viewed on my MacBook, the retake wasn't as sharp as the original, and didn't quite have as good lighting. So I painted out the egg box shadow in the top left, using Elements. It was barely noticeable, but I could see it. I might retake the photo again later. ETA - I did retake the photo - and it's shown as it was on the camera.

That is so good, I could just reach out and borrow that egg for breakfast.

Love the one in the box.

Perfect.

Both photos are fantastic, but I love the 2nd one best. It's simply stunning. Imaging we have all this beauty around us and we are getting better and better at catching and charing it! Yay for you starting the 366.

oh, we have booked a viewing on Thursday, fingers crossed it will be a good one and we can _finally_ move in together again!! O will go on his own, but he has a cam recorder to film the house, so I can see when he is back on Friday.

I love eggs; they're so perfect. I like the second photo best, too.

You turned simple eggs into great images, good work!

The stamp on the egg is neat, we never see that here.
