Looking at the pyramids outside the Louvre, through one of the archways leading from the nearby courtyard into the big open space where the pyramids and Louvre are. This was the better photo technically, I felt. A more general photo showing the Louvre (on the left) and the big and small pyramids is below:

Love the shot of the Louvre through the archway - in fact loving all of your photos - and the tales!
You are such an inspiration as I can see how your photography skills have grown in such a short space of time.
Wow, it's so pretty! I like how through the dark, solid archway the pyramid looks almost like a ghost.
Also like the new placement of the Reuters thing - very nice flow!
I agree that your first image is the stronger one. And also more unique. Everyone takes a pyramid picture when in Paris but not necessarily from that angle. The 'placement' of the people in that shot is excellent! Very nicely done.
Oooooooooooh! Squeee. I just KNEW you'd get an awesome, awesome shot of this! Very good work!
Thanks for taking us with you on your trip to Paris with your wonderful images. Linda is right, your growth in photography is so evident. Beautiful images Helen.
Ah, that is beautiful!
very cool perspective in the first shot.
I love the pyramids of the Louvre. :lovely: They're perfectly "mises en scène" in your pictures I can't think of an English expression for that, and since it's Paris I thought I'd maybe get away with using French. It just means that you chose the perfect perspective but sounds much better and more artsy in French.
And if this makes no sense, my eyelids just started drooping, which means that I'm past being coherent.
