Theme 279.
Outside the Louvre in Paris are the famous glass pyramids (yes, they will be filling my "Pyramid" theme later!). Anyway, I people watched there on one day and then briefly again on my final day (en route between L'Arc De Triomphe in the morning and the Gare Du Nord for early afternoon). This is from the first visit.
There is a large pyramid flanked to left and right by smaller pyramids - this little girl was pressed against one of the smaller ones, looking down into it, at the people underground. And the wind kept blowing her rain poncho thing, so she was almost - inside out! So cute to see. I would have zoomed in and gotten a better photo, but she then ran back to her family. I darkened it a touch in iPhoto - it was a little light before (again, couldn't redo the photo for better colour either).

What a lovely picture. :D And a great take on the theme. And it works really well in b/w!
Helen, this is perfect in B&W and the wide angle is excellent too. I love this image!
That' a precious picture! How lucky to find one for that theme. I've been stumped on it for awhile.
Helen, have you made some changes in your blog in the past couple days? I used to be able to log into it with no problems using Firefox. Now I can't, and have to use Safari. Just curious.
Wow, this is a great one! What a cute little girl and a great take on the theme too.
