The Eiffel Tower, as viewed from the ground. Certainly tall!
I didn't go up this time, despite it being a rare blue sky/sunlight moment. I went all the way up about 11 years ago, on a beautifully sunny day. The next year (about 10 years ago), I went again but as it was grey and overcast, my friends and I decided to sotp on the 1st or 2nd level and have some crepes. Been to the top, seen it already the year before ;-) Well this year, there was no way I was paying the entrance fee and queueing for ages (and the time to get to the top was 30 minutes, and that was after you'd done the long queue for a ticket!)

Lovely shot, good that the sky co-operated that day. I visited the Eiffel tower in January and February one year (years ago). I can't remember if there were queues, but that does rather put you off, doesn't it.

Oh, wow! That has to be the "winner" for the "Such Great Heights" theme! I blows me away. I so wish I could see some of the wonderful European landmarks you've captured. But your photos and narrative are the next best thing.
This is a gorgeous shot. I actually purchased some Eiffel Tower shots last week and just received them. Yours is just as beautiful, if not better, than the two I purchased for framing.
Wow!!! We have a big canvas poster of the Eiffel Tower in our bedroom, but I would MUCH rather have yours!!
