I went into Exeter yesterday, and after stopping by the Post Office to send off a BookMooch request, and seeing a street performance by a visiting theatre group, I saw this little bee on a bench. It looks like one of the toys you get in a McDonalds Happy Meal, but he looked so happy and bright in the sunshine - I wonder if the kid misses him?

He looks just like the main character in the recent childrens "Bee Movie" that Seinfield made. Popular movie over here. Cute shot!
I once left a stuffed animal in a restaurant and couldn't sleep that night for being overwhelmed with guilt and sadness. I hope whoever left this behind didn't feel quite so emotional...poor bee does look pretty lonely though.
