Theme 133.
I stayed a little late at work on Thursday, and as that then meant I had time in between my buses (bus from work to Exeter, and then the one from Exeter to home), I got some shopping in Tesco's, and a hot chocolate. And took the chance to take some photos in the Princesshay section - you've already seen the Red one (you can just about see those glass seats from that theme, in the far lower middle of this photo).
It's fitting for "Urban", with the juxtaposition of the old cathedral (11th century I think), and the new and modern shops, which have flats/apartments above them, and the funky glass seats and twinkly lights in the trees (far lower centre).

Can I please live in one of those flats above the shops, next to the glassy colored seats, down the street from the old cathedral?! I would love it. I love the juxtaposition here too. Really cool picture.
And I'm still stuck on the glass seating/art from the Red picture. Can't get enough of stuff like that. I need to come to Exeter.
What a nice photo. A great "urban" mix of contemporary and historical architecture. Beautiful light as well. I really like city photographs of quiet streets, as it always allows you to catch all those details that you miss when there's people everywhere.
This is great, Exeter is such a lovely city.
So pretty! I love the contrast of old and new. And it's so inviting, the way you composed it. Makes me want to walk right in!
What a great contrast! I'd love to live there. I could move in with Allison.
Urban has a very different meaning (or style) between the UK and US. This shot feels quaint and old to me, though the newer buildings do hint a bit at my version of "urban" :)
