Theme 366 (the last of the list!)
As mentioned in Farm Yard, I spent a weekend with my friends Gem and Jon, and their 6 month old baby Will. As he's now at the age where they're starting Baby Led Weaning, this means lots of chances for Will to try new foods (I saw him try boiled egg - ooh, it bounces!). I'm only sorry I missed seeing him try broccoli (they had to hoover the conservatory walls, apparently). This was just toast, which he's had before, but it's still a time of discovery for Will - mashing things, tasting them, feeling the textures, learning how to hold things with thumb and first finger, as opposed to the palm/4 finger mash.

Agh! He's so cute too! What a fun shot. He's so interested in the toast at that moment! Hee.
He's such a cutie. Might be a tad biased though...
This is a great capture. You've composed so well with the raised foot and the face being just barely visible. Great in black and white too...
Precious shot, Helen! Will is growing up! (I stumbled upon Gem's blog before he was born, and have been reading it ever since.)
this is an interesting shot, it's good you described it as at first I couldn't immediately see it, if you know what I mean, then I wondered if it was a frog in Will's hand, it looks more squelchy than toast!
Such a cute picture and I like how close you took/cropped the photo.
Such a cute picture. :lovely: And great composition!
I too thought it was a frog or toad he had captured.
Nice shot.
