18 - Bridge

Theme 220.

Photobucket

This is called the Iron Bridge, in Exeter. You can drive and walk along it, and there used to be two running shops (both called the Ironbridge Runner - number 1 sold the clothes and stuff, while its sister shop number 2 sold shoes). They've now moved to one bigger shop further up the road.

What beautiful lines on this bridge. I'm afraid here the bridges are just flat roads that run across a river or stream. Nothing artistic about them.

This is just a lovely image and yes, a lovely bridge. It is lamentable that modern bridges are so ugly by comparison.

Love the way you use light reflections and shadows to bring out the beauty and intricacies in the bridges's design.

oh brother, you guys have the most beautiful structures and surroundings! When you get right down to it, LA is pretty ugly :)
