Theme 100.
I think originally when I made the list, I'd thought of carved as in wood. But stone works too! This was one I shot as part of Exeter cathedral today (see the next post, "Tall"). It's one of the carvings in the vertical lines at the bottom of the cathedral front. There's something about this photo I just like, but can't quite explain why it really does. I can feel the emotion of the dog, but it's stone!

It actually looks like it might be carved into fresh sand. :passout: Great picture! And interesting theme...
