11 - Quirky

Theme 146.

Photobucket

I bought this sometime last year, when I was aiming to take some photos and was looking for some different things. Bottle stopper, from Tesco's! The closest I'll probably come to a beach hut, when the real things are kept in families for generations now and when they do sell, are expensive! But such a British seaside thing, I love seeing them.

It's cute. And yes, a beach hut would be very lovely...

when I first saw this I thought it was a much larger object - until I read it was a bottle stopper. I hope you have some good wine to go with it!

Good shot and good choice for quirky, I bet no one else doing 366 has one of those ;0). I agree a beach hut would be lovely.

Beach huts are my thing. If you want to linger in beach hut land take a look at www.msbnews.co.uk and try especially the latest news bit.

It is a good thing to want to linger in a beach hut. it is where I go whenever I can, food tastes fresher, the air is cleaner, wine is better for you and friends are real friends in the confines of a hut.

I wasn't even sure what a beach hut was and I lived in California for years! Now, I see from Tim's link that it is a British institution. They certainly make fine photographic subjects, too.

Helen, do you mind if I add your blog to a running list I am keeping at http://photoshopelementsight.com/Sight/Forums.html?
I'm trying to encourage participation amongst users there...
